Terms and Conditions

  1. The Renter agrees to the provisions of this Rental Agreement and has received a copy hereof.

  2. The Renter shall return the vehicle:
    a. together with all accessories (including tyres and tools) in the same condition as they were received by the Renter, except for normal wear and tear owing to use;
    b. on the date specified under the terms of this Agreement, unless otherwise agreed at a later time;
    c. at the premises of the Lessor, unless otherwise agreed.

  3. If any damages occur during the rental period, a post-assessment will be done after the trip and a quote will be forwarded to the client. Damages will be deducted in full from the breakage deposit.

  4. An admin fee for cross-border documents is applicable at R500.


Refundable Breakage Deposit

A Refundable breakage deposit of R5,000 for local trips or R20,000 for neighbouring countries is payable 7 days before collection. A payment request will be emailed to you 14 days before your trip start date.

Camper Rules

  1. The maximum GVM of a braked trailer may not exceed the tow vehicle’s tare mass up to a maximum of 3 500 kg.
  2. No smoking is permitted.
  3. Driver should hold an EB or E Class Licence.

Availability

  • 3 days minimum trip
  • 30 days maximum trip

Cleaning Fee

  • Once-off cleaning fee: R300

Cancellation Policy

  • The 50 % deposit amount paid with the booking is strictly non-refundable once paid
  • Cancellation notice received within 60 days before departure date will qualify for NO (0 %) refund.

Insurance Disclosure

Insurance is included in the per day rate, provided by an Authorised Financial Service Provider.

Liability and Use of Deposit

In the event of a claim arising from any damages or loss during the rental period, the renter will be fully liable for the insurance excess amount. The deposit paid by the renter will be applied towards covering this excess. Should the excess exceed the deposit amount, the renter will be responsible for settling the remaining balance.

The renter acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  • Liability for Excess: The renter will be responsible for the full excess payable under the insurance policy in the event of a claim.
  • Use of Refundable Breakage Deposit: The deposit paid at the start of the rental period will be applied towards the excess amount.
  • Additional Payment: If the deposit does not fully cover the excess, the renter will be liable for the outstanding balance and will be required to pay this amount upon notification.
